About theShop

theShop is Singapore’s independent electronics store — built and backed by Blumm Technology Pte Ltd, a company that’s been in the IT industry since 2005.

We started as an IT service provider. Over the years, we built relationships with major tech companies in the region, supplying everything from monitors to peripherals. That experience gave us direct access to the authorised distributors who supply the products you see here.

We’ve sold on the major marketplaces. We know how they work. And we’ve watched platform fees climb year after year — to the point where commission plus payment fees can take as much as 10% of every transaction. That cost gets passed to the customer one way or another.

theShop is our answer to that. Same genuine products from the same authorised distributors that supply the superstores, the shops at Sim Lim Square, and the online stores you already know. But without the marketplace tax, and without the noise that comes with it.

Every product on theShop is sourced from authorised distributors. Every purchase comes with local warranty. If something goes wrong, you’re dealing with real people in Singapore — not a chatbot, not a call centre overseas.

We’re not trying to be the biggest store. We’re building the most straightforward one.
